What Do I Need to Know About Ticks?
The normal life span for ticks is about two years. They are arachnids, related to spiders, mites, and scorpions. After feeding on blood, the female will lay eggs in the spring. The eggs hatch in the summer. The larvae hide in grass and rotting wood until they find a small animal to feed on.
